Mary E. Lovell Grotke, 85, of Sebastian, died Friday, December 20th, 2024. Born in Chicago, Illinois to David and Ann Lovell. She lived in Palm Beach County, Fl. for over 60 years before moving to Sebastian early this year.
Mary spent 19 months in a sanitarium with tuberculosis at eighteen years old. One of her fondest memories was when Frank Sinatra came to her hospital room and sang to her. She was an Avon representative for more than forty years. She enjoyed bowling and was a longtime member of the 225 Club. She was a avid Gator fan. She was a loving mother, Granny, sister, aunt, and friend.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Jim and her great granddaughter Sadie.
She is survived by her son Eric (Cheryl) of Vero Beach, grandson Josh (Emma) of Cramerton, NC, granddaughter Emma of Vero Beach, as well as great-grandsons, Hudson & Noah. She is also survived by her sister Sally and her brother Tom, as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 11:00 am at GraceSpring Church, 1955 20th Avenue, Vero Beach, Fl. 32960
