Melanie your passing has left many heartbroken. I’ve reached out to Herbert & Rachel & Herbert Jr. whom you grew up with and their grief is overwhelming. Their only comfort are their memories of you as a child growing up to become the caring and dedicated nurse and lady we remember. I ,too, will miss our exchanges of faith and hope of a better life to come, like searching the night sky for the brightest star. You now get to share the Heavens with all the stars ……. and we shall look heavenward until we meet again.

Melanie, your passing will re-connect many (though for a brief moment) in your extended family. There are many. Perhaps as they say, “We shouldn’t need these occasions to be that which causes us to get together.” I’m happy to learn that you have a relationship with Christ my King. That relationship allows the preacher to be more open with those who have come to pay their respects. Like you I want as many as possible to KNOW HIM. Perhaps in eternity, we shall meet and fellowship. See you there.

I will miss Melanie’s generous and caring spirit, as well as her enthusiastic love of animals and the natural world. She was a sweet soul. On behalf of the McCullers family(Donna, Brenda, Steve, Peggy, and David) I’d like to offer our sincere sympathies and condolences to Gene and the rest of the Chesser family. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.
