Millie I miss you so very much. I saw you as always in the back of church Saturday Mass. You were happy to give a Hug and Kiss and ask how the grandchildren were…little did I know you would fall ill a few hrs. later. You meant so much to our family- and I knew I could call anytime with a joke to share or someone was sick and I wanted them to be put on the prayer list. When my father died in Oct. 2013 I was at church eating dinner with you when I got the call. You were always considered family …You taught my daughter, Angel and my granddaughter, Alyssa, they will miss you very much! I know you went straight to Heaven! We love and miss you so much already – God Bless you Millie

Millie, will never forget when you trained me into being an EM at IRMH, because your mother was not doing well and felt that I could be a good companion when visiting the sick on my monthly schedule to meet you around 8:30 a.m. at the Chaplain’s Office. This I did until Fr. Michael Edwards changed the two (2) Deacons, Dave Hankle and Charles Weir who were doing the Hospital together, and he preferred that only one Deacon should do so and another partner had to be sought. You were assigned with Deacon Dave Hankle, whereas I was with Deacon Charles Weir who could not do it for a long time due to other commitments at the Parish. It was never the same when you were no longer my partner and support. Afterwards, you also helped me as an EM at the 6:00 p.m. Saturday Mass that Fr. Edwards also, regrettably decided to eliminate for the low turnout, but happened to be my Favorite Mass, because the church was not overcrowded. Will really miss you, although I have not encountered you lately, except at the Harvest Festival where you made the delicious Corn Chowder Soup that my wife, Simonetta, and I enjoyed very much. You were certainly an examples of being a Good Person and a Very Good Catholic, and you had a lovely voice when I very rarely attended the 5:00 p.m. Folk Mass on Sunday.God Bless you Millie

I met Millie 4 or 5 years ago at a Fighting Indians Football game. Millie had this red cow bell and I commented on how I would like to get one for the games. We started talking and found out that we were both Millie’s!! That was so neat! At the end of our conversation we became fast friends and she gave me the cow bell!! She always called me Millie 3 as she knew another Millie as well. I will miss seeing her at the Harvest Festival by the soups and letting me know all about each one. Millie 1 was a precious person and she will be greatly missed. Love Millie 3
