My brother in law….. He was a kind man …a gentle man…a thoughtful man…he loved my sister very much and that made him to me a great brother in law. We use to have family get-togethers when he and Sandy came to visit. He always would chat with the family members and see how each one was doing. We will miss him so much but know he is with our Lord. So it is our hope that someday we will see him again ! Carry on, Pete! Love, Judi and Larry Kramer

Blessed. I was blessed to have had the privilege to know and love Mr. Pete Sloan. Mr. Pete went out of his way to befriend and guide a skinny little teenager and his kindness and caring was never forgotten. I was so fortunate to have been able to rekindle that friendship with Pete, Ron and Greg and to be able to repay some of that kindness to Pete over the past 10 years. Pete lived life to the fullest. He loved his wife and family with all of his being. His passion for the outdoors never waned and I will so miss spending time with him as well as his calls to check in with me. God gained a beautiful soul and I will remember him in so many ways – and I will smile when I do.
