Otto Richard Weiler, Jr., beloved husband to Lena Galli Weiler, passed peacefully from our midst on 3/8/18. “Dick and Lee” loved and worked together throughout their 67 years of marriage. They owned and operated “Weiler & Co.,”
Furniture in Egg Harbor, NJ prior to procuring their Real Estate Licenses on Long Beach Island, NJ.
In 1979 they moved to Vero Beach, became Brokers, and
bought and operated Donovan Real Estate for 13 years.
Dick’s world revolved around his Family which surrounded him with love and comfort. His Daughter, Pat Donovan (Richard),Two Sons, Rick Weiler (Dianne) and Mike Weiler (Penny). Grandchildren: Tammy Geerling (Marty), Morgan Donovan (Lana), Nicole Vanderwerf (Aaron), Ryan Weiler, Otto R. Weiler III, and Michael W. Weiler. Great Grand-daughters Kora Lee Geerling and Mila Donovan.
Dick was discharged from the United States Marine Corp as a Captain in 1959.
He was a member of the American Legion Rudolph Elmer Post 158 in Egg Harbor City and Stephen N. Gladden Post 40 in Fort Pierce, FL.
Interment will occur at a future date in his hometown, Egg Harbor City, NJ, with full Marine Corp Military Honors.
The Family would like to thank the IRMH Medical Staff, EMT’s, VNA Hospice Staff, and countless Friends for their support.
