The time that has or will come to each of us has come to Pat. Many thoughts and events that have passed over the years in anticipation of this time would fill volumes. How then can the usual summary in an obituary notice do justice to the ending of a remarkable life which has been so meaningful, so precious, so beautiful, so special, so contributing as a wife, a mother, a teacher and a superb human being. No attempt will be made here to do the impossible.
Her family: a loving husband, John, three daughters (Susan, Jodi, and Cyndi), a son, (John Jr.), and daughter-in-law (Kathleen), seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild remain to sing praise of her life.
Our wedding song “Because” ends with the final words “…because God made thee mine.” Now God has her back. She will await the rest of us in time at a place where we will all be reunited in love for eternity.
