Let the family know you care by sharing this tribute.
Riley Edward Welchance II was born on July 19, 1979, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was a devoted father, beloved son, cherished brother, and loving boyfriend, who entered eternal rest on November 27, 2025. Through his time on this earth was far too short, his impact on the lives of those around him will last forever.
A man of quiet strength and unwavering dedication, Riley worked hard every day to provide a good life for his daughter Lily. No matter how busy he was, his daughter remained his greatest joy, his deepest purpose, and his proudest accomplishment. Everything he did—every sacrifice, every long day, every prayer—was for her. The bond they shared was unbreakable, and his love for her will continue to echo in her heart always.
Riley was also a loyal brother and a steady source of comfort and companionship to his family. His humor and his gentle spirit brought warmth to every room he entered. He loved deeply and lived sincerely.
Though we grieve his loss, we find peace in knowing that he has gone to be with the Lord and is now reunited with his mother Leslie Welchance, whom he loved dearly and missed profoundly. Their reunion is a comfort to us as we hold onto faith and the memories he left behind.
He leaves behind his precious daughter Lilian Welchance, his loving family; father Riley Welchance, (Dawn Welchance), brother Kyle Welchance (Trish Welchance), sister Tiffany Welchance (Scott Dorrington), nephews Dominick Ramirez and Kyle Welchance II, niece Giulianna Ramirez, and all those who were blessed to know and love him.
He was preceded in death by his loving mother Leslie Welchance. Though he is no longer with us physically, his legacy of love, hard work, and devotion will live on in each person whose life he touched.
May he rest in eternal peace, wrapped in God’s embrace.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, December 11th, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm with the Service beginning at 2:30pm.
Arrangements are by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.
