I’m remembering the fun times we had with Bobby and all of his siblings. When my family, Omer and Edna LaPorte plus six children, moved to Vero in 1958, there were many holiday parties hosted by Aunt Margaret and Uncle Ernie. Bob was always smiling, kind and fun. He and my sister, Annette, loved to dance. I’m so sorry he had to suffer his last years on earth but he had Mary Ann, Marie and Vicki to comfort him. They were a blessing. He is now with our Meme and Pepe, his mother and father, and many other relatives. I bet they are playing cards and having a beer. May God bless Bobby’s soul and his grieving family.

We remember the fun times we had together like the canoe trip down the Peace River. The times the guys were together at our camp at River Ranch and falling off the buggy. Brings back some good memories. We are wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your heart. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

I’ve known Bobby, David, Joyce Ann, Dennis & their Parents since 1958. It is with a very saddened heart that I write this condolence. As my very good friend, Loretta De Petri said, “He was one of the good ones”. Everyone loved Bobby, not just the class of “62”. Will pray for him & the family. RIP Bobby

My condolences to the Laporte family. I knew Bob for quite a few years. He was always so kind and sweet. I know he would rather be with his family. But he is in a wonderful place now. I use to be his restorative aide. I will never forget him.
