Robert Edward Woodmansee, age 88, passed away March 7, 2024.
He was born in South Kingstown, RI and moved to Vero Beach from Ludwigsburg, Germany.
He served 21 years in the United States Army in Germany as a Chief Warrant Officer 4 (CW4) and earned the Air Medal during Vietnam.
Mr. Woodmansee was of catholic faith.
He was a member of the Florida State Golf Association, Inc.
He is survived by his wife, Sieglinde Sturm-Woodmansee; sons, Richard Woodmansee and Robert Woodmansee, Jr.; daughters, Patricia Woodmansee and Hazel Kirk-Brumley; six grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, George Woodmansee and Hazel Woodmansee, he was predeceased by his brothers, George and Edwin Woodmansee and his sister, Joyce.
Interment, with full military honors, will take place at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 20, 2024.
