Robert Edward Haas, age 82, passed away September 22, 2024 in Vero Beach, Florida.
He was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey and lived in Edison, New Jersey before moving to Vero Beach, Florida in 1991.
Mr. Haas was a Veteran of the United States Navy, serving 1960-1964.
He was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
Robert enjoyed his many years of work in Public Service Electric & Gas in Elizabeth, New Jersey as a Mechanic and retired after 24 years.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Evelyn; three children, Robert (Irene) Haas, Jr., Stephen Haas, and Stacy Haas; two grandchildren, Patrick and Kyle.
He was predeceased by his father, Otto; mother, Irma; and brother, Richard.
Arrangements are by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.
