Roberto Elman Díaz, age 56 passed away Friday, March 5, 2021 at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital with his father by his side.
He was born to Roberto and Yolanda Díaz on August 15, 1964 in San Salvador, El Salvador, Central America. Roberto attended Vero Beach High School.
Roberto was an entrepreneur early in life, owning an auto mechanic shop, Southern Mustang located in Vero Beach.
Roberto enjoyed traveling to places such as Helen, Georgia and loved being with his family.
He was happiest at family gatherings.
Roberto is survived by his parents, Roberto and Yolanda Díaz; sisters, Yolanda Díaz, Maritza Díaz Al-Khatib, Maybel Díaz Escobar; bother-in-law, Wbaldo Escobar; nephews and nieces, Robert William Acevedo, Mary Elisabeth Acevedo, Monica Guillen, Jose Guillen, Amira Al-Khatib, Anthony Acevedo, Arty Escobar, Rami Al-Khatib, Stephanie Escobar; and 8 great-nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brother, Elman Antonio Díaz and niece, Hannah Al-Khatib.
A Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 8, 2021 at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.

We have enjoyed friendship with the Diaz family for many years, and have pleasant memories of that friendship. We rejoice with the family, in the knowledge that Roberto is now rejoicing, with his Father in Heaven. Blessed be his memory.
