I am saddened to learn of the passing of Mrs.Fika. I have fond memories of sharing good times in the Fika household with Brenda, Kathy and Angie. Mrs. Fika welcomed me as if I was a member of the family and patiently put up with our shenanigans. Mrs.Fika was a true lady and she will be sorely missed.

I was blessed to teach alongside Ruth for many years at Rosewood. She was kind, caring, and calm, radiating grace in her interactions with everyone, and lighting up whenever she spoke of her beautiful family. She will be remembered with much love.

Mrs Fika was my first grade teacher back in the 1980’s. I was fond of a few teachers in my life and she was one of them. Thank you for all you did for me and the students of Indian River County. You will be missed.

Grateful to have had Mrs. Fika as my first grade teacher at Rosewood Elementary many years ago. Thank you for being a kind and caring soul to your students.
