Sally Brooke Law died on June 16, 2017. She is survived by a son, Howard Goodrich Law III (Joyce) and a daughter, Susan Law Dake (William) and four grandchildren, Zoe Brooke McKee (Mathew), Jason McKee (Rohini), Jennifer Sayne (Robert) and David Law as well as nine great grandchildren: Sunaina, Ryan, and Liam McKee; Emelia and Cedric Mckee Fisher, Avery and Alyssa Hall, Jacob and Evelyn Sayne.
She was born at home in Lowell, Ma on August 20, 1923 to Ruth Pilling Parchert and Fedrick Leroy Parchert. Mrs. Law was a graduate of Rogers Hall (1941) and Erskine College (1943). She married Howard Goodrich Law Jr in 1945. They were happily married for over 66 years. Howard Law pre deceased her in 2012. They were members of Trinity Episcopal Church.
She was a senior life master bridge player and an active and then sustaining member of the Junior League of Englewood, New Jersey. An avid tennis, paddle tennis and golf player, she remained committed to fitness through her life. Her club memberships included: the Englewood Field Club, the Knickerbocker Country Club, the Moorings Club, Vero Beach Country Club and the Oak Harbor Club.
Her commitment to family was her life’s focus. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren are sustained by her constant love and pride in all their accomplishments. A memorial service will be held in the Fall when the family and friends can gather. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the VNA Hospice of Indian River County or to the charity of your choice.
