Scott William Meredith, 61, passed away at home in Vero Beach, Florida, on November 18, 2022.Scott was born and raised in East Brunswick, New Jersey, and graduated from Cook College Rutgers University in 1984 with a degree in marketing. He called Lavallette, New Jersey, home for 32 years before relocating to Vero Beach in 2016.
He was a notable realtor with Sotheby’s International Realty for eleven years. Previously, he was the co-owner of Wavejammer Surf Shop, a Jersey shore staple for locals and vacationers alike, from its opening in 1985 to 2012.
A true beach lover at heart, Scott enjoyed surfing and long days on the sand soaking up the sun with friends and family. His interest in exploring the world also fueled his passion for food and wine collecting, which he loved to share with others. Scott was an incredibly kind person and always put others before himself, going to great lengths to ensure everyone was happy – whether through getting everyone fresh baked goods for breakfast, or making sure all glasses were full.
