Seymore Johnston, Jr., 76, of Vero Beach died Wednesday, January 23 at Kindred Hospital in Melbourne.
He was born July 3, 1936 in Albany, New York and had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1980 coming from West Palm Beach where he was the caretaker at the Jack Nicklaus residence.
He was a veteran of the US Navy and a member of the Vero Beach Veterans.
Before retirement he worked for Dodgertown as a groundskeeper.
He is survived by daughter, Mary Beth Stone of Vero Beach and son, Robert Johnston of Hobe Sound, FL; 4 grandchildren, 2 greatgrandchildren.
At the request of the Family a memorial service will be held at a later date.
