Sharlynn Faye Hewitt, age 68, passed away on October 20, 2021 at her home in Vero Beach, Florida surrounded by loving family.
She was born in Danville, Illinois and moved to Vero Beach, Florida in 1972 from Catlin, Illinois. She was a graduate of Catlin High School, class of 1971.
Sharlynn retired in 2010 to spend time with family. She enjoyed her many years of work with Merrill Lynch as a Financial Sales Assistant. She was a member of Fellsmere First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her mother, Phyllis Becker High; sisters, Paula Clawson (Jeff Wakeland), Mary (Mike) Clawson; brother, William (Cindy) Becker; daughter, Melanie (Joshua) Pacot Stansberry; son, Cody Hewitt and Destiny Mapp; grandchildren, Chaz, Alley, Kiera, Malikai, and Kyle.
She was predeceased by her husband, George Woodrow Hewitt; father, Paul Eugene Becker; and sister, Teresa Lynn Becker.
A Visitation will be held 3:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 with a Funeral Service to follow at 4:00 p.m. at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory.
Arrangements are by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.
