Mrs. Shirley Marlene Allinder passed away on May 5, 2016 at Indian River Medical Center.
Shirley was born in Delaware, Ohio to the late Marion Denune and Evelyn McMahon. She has been a resident of Vero Beach since 1979, coming from Westerville, Ohio.
Mrs. Allinder was a member of First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Everett W. Allinder; daughter, Marlisa (Douglas) Kraft; granddaughters, Mallory (Wesley) Serafin and Rachel Kraft; brother, Richard McMahon; Half-brother, Michael Denune; half-sisters, Jaci DeSimone, Jeri Doss, Toni Golding; step-sister, Judy Rice; sister-in-laws, Nancy Pacha, Eva Klaiber, and Rebecca McMahon.
She was predeceased by a stillborn son, parents, and step-father, Thomas McMahon; and sister-in-law, Patricia Garlinghouse.
There will be services held in Richwood, Ohio at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Indian River County Fire Station 4, 1500 9th Street S.W., Vero Beach, FL 32962.
