Terry R. Cook, 76 years of age, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2025, at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, Fl. surrounded by loving family.
He was born in Buffalo, New York to Adella and Richard Cook. Terry resided in New York prior to moving to Vero Beach, Florida.
Terry worked for 23 years in the Indian River County Road & Bridge Division and retired as a Superintendent.
He was a member of St Mark’s Anglican Church and volunteered at The Source often.
Terry enjoyed playing cards, golfing, riding horseback, and rock-n-roll. The best past times were when he would visit the pits during the NASCAR stock races, always rooting on his favorite driver #3 Dale Earnhardt. He was also an avid Buffalo Bills fan. Upon retirement, both Terry and his wife Michelle traveled the country in thier 41 foot 5th wheel. Terry was a jack of all trades and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his wife Michelle Cook, sons Brian Cook (Jamie), Michael Cook; daughter Nicole Plemmons (Sterling); stepdaughters Suzanne Broder (David), Annette Martin (Reese), stepson Bill Terry (Deborah); grandchildren Hannah Martin, Holden Martin, Connor Fulton, Clay Coulter, Faith Terry, Victoria Odumu, Alexander Cook, Link Plemmons, Lash Plemmons, Maxton Mohney; great grandchild Michaela Broder; sisters Wendy Savett (Marc), Sue Hall (David), Kathy Lotz (Mike), Cindy Schmitz; and many nieces and nephews.
Terry was predeceased by his parents; brothers Tommy and Ricky, and grandson Michael McGillvery.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St Mark’s Anglican Church on Monday June 9th, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St Mark’s Anglican Church or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
