Todd Kinney, Sr., 62, succumbed to his illness, on March 28, 2023. Todd was born on September 21, 1960, in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, to Segunda Marzan and Gary Kinney. He grew up in LES and later relocated to Staten Island, NY.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Doris Kinney, his children; Robert, Angelina, Todd Jr., David, Gwendolyn, Ireli, and Joshua, his grandchildren; Robert Jr., Xavian, Kayla, Tomas Jr., Joshua Jr., David Jr., Naria, Kaseem, Ivette, Aubrey, Parris, Italy, and Jeremiah, his sister, Dorothy; brothers, Kevin, and Angel, and countless extended family.
Todd was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and overall great family man.
Todd attended Seward Park Educational Campus High School and went on to achieve his associate degree at John Jay College of NY.
He served in the U.S. Marines and had a 20+ year career as a Field Technician with Verizon. Todd loved all things family. He loved spending time with family, dancing, camping, fishing, traveling, the outdoors, and enjoying life to the fullest.
In April 2022, Todd and his wife Doris retired from Staten Island, NY to Vero Beach, Florida, where they spent the last year fishing, traveling, and enjoying retirement life.
The memories will forever live in our hearts.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 451 Northfield Ave, Staten Island, NY 10303 on Sunday, April 9, 2023, 2:00pm.
