Virginia “Virge” P. Mucci, age 101, of Ft. Pierce, passed away September 16, 2020.
Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Virge eventually moved to Florida.
A graduate of Harding High School, Bridgeport, Virge retired from the Telephone Company, Bridgeport, after 35 years of service.
Virge was a member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, Vero Beach, where she was a proud usher for 20 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Michele E. Mucci, as well as nieces and nephews.
Virge was predeceased by her husband, Michael J. Mucci, two brothers and two sisters.
A Memorial Service will be held 10 a.m., Monday, October 26, 2020 at St. John of the Cross, 7550 26th St., Vero Beach, FL 32966.
Contributions in her name, may be made to the Caring Center for Women, 1986 31st Ave., Suite 100, Vero Beach, FL 32960.

Michele, We have often wondered how you were as we drove past your neighborhood as we travel with the grandchildren. I was so sorry to read that you mother had passed away. I always enjoyed the two of you and imagine it must be difficult to be without her. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
