Warren S. McGary passed away unexpectedly at his home in Vero Beach, Florida on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at the age of 52.
Warren was born October 1, 1969, in Danbury, Connecticut where he spent most of his life before moving to Vero Beach with his beautiful bride and best friend Sherrie. Warren is a graduate of Henry Abbott Tech Regional High School. He was employed as a land surveyor and was currently working toward obtaining his Drone license.
Warren had a great love for music, motorcycles, and surfing. He spent many hours playing his guitar and adding to his small collection. He had a love and passion for art and his creativity was seen through his artwork – especially his metal paintings. However, his greatest passion was for his wife, son, family, and friends. Warren was genuine soul and a true warrior in every sense of the word as a provider and a protector. Whether spending time with those he loved, tinkering on motorcycles, creating art, or strumming his guitar, Warren did it with passion.
He is survived by his beloved son who he held near and dear to his heart, Matthew McGary, his brother Jimbo Hall, Mother-in-Law Barbara McAleer, Brother-in-Law Robert H. Paugh, Sister-In-Law Anna Paugh, Nephew Ryan and Niece Elie. He also leaves a void in the lives of his three best friends, Bernie, Chris & Dave whom he shared many good times and life events with.
Warren was preceded in death by his loving mother Josephine S. McGary and his wife and best friend, Sherrie (Paugh) McGary.
Arrangements by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.

WOW, to describe the loss in words, Warren was not just a friend, he was a BEST friend, a spirit brother, this loss is a permanent effect, always thinking of so many different good times we/(me warren and chris) went through, good bad or indifferent we always were together, even when moved away. Warren was the tightest family i’ve ever had. i still continuously feel an expected call or the need to call. the nature of the loss hits me even harder thinking he lost his soulmate shortly before, and the broken heart he endured overwhelmed him.
