Wayne Howard Ledder, age 86, passed away July 4, 2025, at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.
He was born in Buffalo, New York to the late Harvey and Margaret (Schmidt) Ledder and moved to New England in 1962 before settling in Vero Beach in 2006.
He was a graduate of the University of Buffalo, class of 1960 with a degree in Electrical Engineering.
Wayne retired as a Software Engineer from Viable Systems.
He was a member of the Vero Beach Amateur Radio Club, Community Emergency Response Team, Amateur Radio Emergency Service, and a volunteer with the American Red Cross.
Survivors include his loving wife Claire; children, Bill (Chris) Ledder, Lynda (Clark) Slocomb, Scott (Carrie) Ledder; sister, Lois (John) Stutzman; grandchildren, Amanda, Sarah, Dutch; along with other nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to VNA & Hospice Foundation, 920 37th Place, 101, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
