William “Bill” H. Kaser, age 84, passed away August 16, 2023 at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital, surrounded by loving family.
Bill was born in Buffalo, New York on April 11, 1939 to the late William F. and Noreen Kaser. He moved to Vero Beach in 1954.
He was a graduate of Vero Beach High School class of 1958 and was married to his lovely wife, Joan for over 64 years.
He was the founder of Bill’s TV until his son took over in 1984. He then went on to become a restorer of antique airplanes. He was a founding member of the flying community of Indian River Aerodrome.
Mr. Kaser was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Joan; son, Bill (Sue) Kaser; daughters, Diane Kaser and Julie (Dave) Cantwell; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
The family will greet friends 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.
A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, 1655 27th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960. A reception will immediately follow at the Indian River Aerodrome located at 125 Nieuport Drive, Vero Beach Fl. 32968. Flyby’s Welcome!

Dear Joan and Family… Terese and I were shocked and saddened to hear of Bill’s passing. He was invaluable to us throughout the restoration of our Howard. Far beyond that, Bill became a true friend. Condolences to the family for their loss; for another Angel ascends home. The Kaser’s welcomed me into their home as one of their own setting great examples of how parents should be. Joan was a loving and caring Mother and Bill was a strong Father figure. Together they gave me guidance and love when I needed it most in my life. Bill took me for my first airplane ride. Diane and I had an adventure of the big blue sky together. I felt safe and secure to enjoy the wonderful view from above. Bill, Diane and Julie welcomed me and shared their parents unconditionally along with their home. I share my story often with others; because it was your Love, Time and Kindness that enlightened my life in such a positive way. Forever grateful……….until we meet again….
