It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Flynn, who left this world peacefully on June 24, 2026, following a brief illness. Brian began his next journey with the same strength, courage, and unwavering heart that defined his life.

Born on January 9, 1975, in Weymouth, Massachusetts, Brian resided in Vero Beach, Florida, and eventually made this his forever home. To many who knew and loved him, he was simply known as “Bingo,” a nickname that stayed with him throughout his life and became as memorable as the man himself. No matter where life took him, he carried with him a deep love for family, an enduring loyalty to those he cared about, and a remarkable ability to keep moving forward through life’s challenges.

Brian was, simply put, a genuinely good man. He had a huge heart and an endless capacity for love. He was loyal, compassionate, easygoing, and strong—a man who met hardship with resilience and determination, always seeing each new day as an opportunity to begin again. Through life’s many ups and downs, he remained a source of strength. His kindness, humor, and generous spirit touched countless lives, and he will be remembered not for his grand achievements, but for the way he made people feel loved, welcomed, and valued.

Brian was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Kathleen Flynn; his father, Joseph Flynn; his brother, Dennis Flynn his Aunt Betty Cheverie, his uncle James Kelley, his grandfather Thomas Kelley and his grandmother Velma Kelley, It brings comfort to the family to know they were waiting with open arms to welcome him home.

He leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory forever, including his sister, Kelley Vallee and her husband, Peter; his sister, Kathleen Flynn and her wife, Ashley; his brother, Matthew Flynn; his cousin Tommy Kelley, his brother James Flynn, his brother Shaun Flynn, his son Tyler Flynn, his niece, Catherine Vallee his nephew, Christopher Solimini, his aunt, Maryann Tierney and her husband, Tim; his cousin, Shane Tierney; along with many other beloved brothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and his dear best friend Chris Rustay and wife Natalie whose lives were enriched simply by knowing him.

Though our hearts are broken by his loss, we are grateful for the love, laughter, loyalty, and strength he shared so freely. His memory will continue to live on in the stories we tell, the lessons he taught us, and the love he leaves behind.

A celebration of Brian’s life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice House, 901 37th Street, Vero Beach, Florida. The compassion, dignity, and care shown to Brian and his family during his final days will forever touch our hearts, and we remain deeply grateful for the comfort and support they provided.

Arrangements are by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.
