Carroll Lee Boyd, age 77, passed away August 26, 2026, at AdventHealth Orlando.
He was born in Mt. Vernon, Ohio and moved to Vero Beach, Florida from Moosic, Pennsylvania.
He was a graduate of Indian River State College.
Mr. Boyd served 22 years with the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office.
Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years, Betty Boyd; brother, Kenneth Boyd; sister, Becky Bowen; son, Jeffrey Weber; daughter, Susan and Tony Consalo; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Children’s, Attn: Shriners Children’s, PO Box 947765, Atlanta, GA 30394.
Arrangements are by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.

Carroll was a once in a life time friend. Even though we didn’t talk everyday we knew the other would always be there when needed. I will miss the conversation and great times we had together.
