Connie D. Mowery, age 75, of Vero Beach, Florida passed away on June 1, 2022, at VNA Hospice House.

She was born in Perrysburg, Ohio and grew up in Patterson, Ohio prior to moving to Forest, Ohio.

She had worked at AO Smith/Westinghouse in Upper Sandusky and then United Against Poverty, Vero Beach.  Connie was a past president of the Ladies Auxiliary, Eagles 2163.

She was a graduate of the Riverdale High School.

Connie was survived by her husband, Merle Mowery of 38 years; her sister and brother: Cora Altvater and David Lawrence both of Patterson, Ohio; stepdaughter: Jennifer (Bill) Moore of Kenton, OH; grandchildren: April Richards, Tabitha (Corey) Joseph, Chad (Beth) Mowery and Jessica Spring; great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, and many who adopted her as “Grandma Connie.”

Connie was predeceased by her parents, Bill and Marie Lawrence, her brothers: Bill and Danny Lawrence, and her stepson: Jeff Mowery.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105 or Donor’s Choice.

Arrangements are by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.

You was the best aunt anyone could ever ask for!!! I wished a lot of things would of went differently but it was out of my control. Just know I love you and always will !!!

I’m so very sorry to hear this. Connie had a heart of gold and will be missed by so many. I always loved talking with her. Prayers go out to the family.
