Daleroy Andrew Stewart, age 45, passed away on April 14, 2024 at Cleveland Clinic- Indian River Hospital.

Daleroy was born and raised in Vero Beach, Florida. In life, he was a member of the National Football League playing as defensive tackle. Daleroy retired from the NFL in 2005 and played in the Arena Football League until 2008. He retired from McCathern LLP in Dallas, Texas in 2018.

He was a devoted Baptist who attended both Apostolic ARCA in Vero Beach and Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Dallas.

Daleroy volunteered with the GYAC in Vero Beach, the Viking Football Club in Duncanville, Tx., the Vero Beach Highschool football team (1997) and Southern Mississippi University (2000).

Survivors include his loving wife Danielle West; mother Beatrice Anderson; sons Montaius Stewart and Justin Stewart; daughters Mia Scott, DaleRoyce Stewart, Chloe Stewart, and Camille Stewart; brothers Delroy, Naton, Rocliff, and Isaac; sisters Ava, Ima Jean, RocQuita, Ariel, and Keisha; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Daleroy was predeceased by his father Charles Stewart, grandmother Mary F. Bryant, grandfather Bobby Leonard, and uncle Doyle Jones.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, 1655 27th Street, Vero Beach, Fl. 32960.

Arrangements are by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.
