Dewitt Clinton Hauser III, age 71, passed away Saturday May 1st, 2021. He was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and moved from Sharpsburg, Georgia.

He was a graduate of Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Dewitt was a Major in the United States military and retired after twenty plus years of service. He was also a Military Plans Analyst with the United States Army Forces Command and retired with more than thirty years of service with this branch.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanne Ervin Hauser; son, Dewitt C. Hauser IV and his wife Nicole; daughter, Ashlee Hauser Cooper and her husband Johnny, and Amanda S. Hauser; sister, Donna Hauser Williams; brother, David Hauser and five grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents, Frances B. Hauser and Dewitt C. Hauser Jr.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Old Nick Williams Farm & Distillery, 2675 Williams Road, Lewisville, North Carolina on Sunday, May 30th from 3-5pm.
