Donald Edmund Hanson, 87, of Vero Beach, Florida, died Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Indian River Medical Center.
He was born April 8, 1925 in Boston, Massachusetts and moved to Vero Beach over 40 years ago, coming from Stafford County, VA.
Mr. Hanson served in the United States Navy during WWII.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Vero Beach.
Mr. Hanson is survived by by his wife of 69 years, Joyce Hanson; daughter, Tenley Joyce Hanson of Orlando, FL and one grandchild.
He was predeceased by son, Donald “Kent” Hanson in 2012.
Inurnment will take place at the Crestlawn Cemetery Columbarium, Vero Beach.
