Elaine Anna Meder, age 80, passed away on November 7, 2015 in Vero Beach, Florida.
Elaine was born in Jamaica, New York to Werner and Anna Maeder on October 11, 1935. She attended Suffolk Community College and was a life long member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Elaine and her husband, Fred, previously lived in New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey before becoming winter residents of Vero Beach, Florida and summer residents of Danville, Virginia.
They are members of Ascension Lutheran Church in Danville, Virginia and Our Savior Lutheran Church in Vero Beach, Florida. Mrs. Meder was very involved in the Lutheran Church where she volunteered at both locations, serving on the Chrismons Ministry Committee, support Committee, and Craft Committees.
Survivors include loving husband of 58 years, Frederick (Fred) Meder; sons, Frederick (Laura) Meder, Jr. and Lawrence (Iris) Meder; grandchildren, Manuel, Melissa, Brad, Chris, Anna, Athena, and Trae; great-grandchildren, Bronxton, Madison, Nariah, and Nalaric.
