I met Betsy because I was Tate’s academic games coach and teacher. She was such a loving and supportive mother! This picture captures her spirit beautifully. She shone from the inside out!

She will be missed dearly! What a compassionate soul and beautiful lady! I have learned tremendously from her generous example. She had such a bright smile and was determined to spread joy. I will miss our monthly breakfasts together at Baci ❤️

Betsy was one of the kindest human beings you will ever meet. Always with a big smile and laughter bubbling up, everyone was her friend. She took on life like a mini tornado and I will forever be grateful for our friendship.

To my dear friend Shannon Corley, your brother Bobby Leonard, Tate, Terry, the Iverson Family and to all who loved your mother, Betsy. – From the first time I met Betsy, your mother, (I remember that day so clearly, I was invited to a BBQ at your their home, year was 1990), I was immediately embraced with a hug, a real hug, a hug and a welcome that radiated sincerity and love . At the time I only had two of my children, 3 and under, your mother doted on them as if they were her own. She filled a void that day, a sense of motherly love that I have never never received from my own. My children received love, genuine love from a beautiful soul, a lady they had never known. They may not remember that day, but for me, it is a day that I have never forgotten. That day I met a true angel on earth. As the years went on, she so selflessly gave that same nurturing love to so many children, giving many a voice, while still loving and adoring her own. I only wish I had the opportunity to surround myself around her radiant presence more. She was blessed to have you all and you all are so blessed that God chose her, Betsy. to be your mother. We all are blessed to have known her and many are blessed to have had even just a moment with her. I have said many times, there are no words to take away the pain or grief one feels when their loved one spreads their glorious wing, there is nothing nor anyone that will ever replace your mother, but know she IS with you. She is proud, know her love follows you, surrounds you and embraces you and comes through you. As I often say my father was the GREATEST gift GOD gave me the day I was born. I thank HIM for that, and I know you also feel the same way about your mother. You will always have my never-ending friendship and love and during this very emotional time for you, my sincerest sympthy and condolences. And to Shannon… 111 ~ d
