Eugene Philip Perna, 79, of Vero Beach, FL passed away on 4/5 at the Consulate of Vero Beach. He was born in Queens, NY on October 2, 1938.
Gene moved to Vero in 1977 and worked as a Purchasing Agent and Methods Engineer at Piper Aircraft and then moved to Harris Corporation until his retirement.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Chris, and their son, Michael.

Dear Family, So sorry to hear about Gene’s passing. We have fond memories of him and Luckey walking with us at Indian River State College lake and property. When our dear Halle dog died he was so kind and sent a lot of pictures of Luckey and Halle playing and walking together. We truly loved our dogs and enjoyed our meetings. He was a good man and so glad to have known him.
