Frances and Ralph Blauvelt - friends and "cousins"

Hi Nancy, We were saddened to hear the news of Red’s death. It’s amazing that you had 70 years of “wedded bliss.” Any of us who are married a long time (we will mark only 48 years in August) know it is not always “blissful,” but it is always meaningful if we age into deeper love and respect for each other’s well-being. Much love, Frances and Ralph Blauvelt

Hi Nancy, Although I only met Red a few times at your home I was always welcomed by him. We chatted about baseball and the teams he liked. You both were very lucky (some say blessed) to have had made the choice of a life together and you made it work! God bless you with the happy memories you two made together. Susan Gorecki
