Harriett was born in Fox Hall, Virginia, February 25, 1925. She was married to Paul Clinton Stickler for 46 years and Paul passed away August 21, 1991. She later married George Edward Perkins, Sr., November 6, 1993, and he passed away October 21, 2007. George was truly the love of her life.

Mrs. Perkins worked for Pan American Airlines during WWII. Harriett joined the Women of the Moose in 1959 and became Senior Regent. She has worked all her life, and went back to school several times to further her career. She was a bookkeeper at the bank, and the Mac Paper Company. She volunteered many hours between two schools for her children.

Mrs. Perkins was a wonderful homemaker, seamstress, and outstanding cook. She was loved by all who knew her.

She is survived by her two children, MaryBeth Browning, (Herman) Vero Beach, Florida; Neil Stickler, (Virginia Linares) of Miami, Florida; three grand children, Christine Garcia, Steven Browning, and Mary Weaver all of Vero Beach; and one Great Grand Son, Jeffery Gravely of Vero Beach. She is also survived by two sisters, Lillian Aliff of Wilson, North Carolina and Adelaide White of Bowling Green, Kentucky.

There will be a service 11:00 am, Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Riverview Baptist Church, 4601 N. Old Dixie Hwy., Ft. Pierce. 34946
