Helen (Kolendo) Mansfield, 96, died on January 16, 2021 in Vero Beach, Florida. She was born in Milford, CT on March 26, 1924. She had a large family and spent most of her life in Connecticut. She raised her family in Stratford, CT before spending her later years in Florida.

Helen took great joy in traveling and playing golf all over the globe. She was fun and full of energy; gardening, doing jigsaw puzzles, playing Mahjong, and even climbing ladders and painting in her nineties. She was known for her tenacity, her generosity, and her love for family and friends. Even in her last years of life, Helen enjoyed spending time with her great grandchildren, and they made her laugh.

She is survived by two daughters, Alynne (Jeffries) Wells of Milford, CT; Diana (Jefferies) Anderson of Guilderland, NY; and two stepchildren, Peggy Ann Wargo (Bill) of Vero Beach, FL, and Marcia Burcham (Randy) of Tucson, AZ; three grandsons, Eric Anderson, Jacob Anderson, and Douglas Wells; and three great grandsons, Cody, Kyle, and Ryan.

She was predeceased by her grandson Chris Wells, her husband Marshall Mansfield, her son-in-law Douglas Wells, and her first husband Ernest William Jefferies.

Helen thanked all her friends and family for all their support these many years, ensuring she could always continue to travel and enjoy social engagements and family gatherings.  She lived her last few years at Vista Gardens Trail, and she valued the friendships she made there.
