James Thomas West passed away peacefully on November 20th, 2021 in Vero Beach, Fl.

He was born in Union, South Carolina and moved to Vero Beach, Florida in the early 1960’s.

James worked for Linus Cadillac. He retired after 45 years as a paint and body frame mechanic.

He was member of the Pioneer Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge #250.

James is survived by his loving wife Sandra Prevatte West; daughter Stephanie Lee West White; son-in-law Martin Neal White; granddaughter Leigh Ann White Foster (Joshua); grandson Joshua Logan White; great granddaughter’s Anah Kate Foster, Klaira Isabelle Foster aka ‘Nugget’, Mallory S. White; great grandson Mallach Camden White;  sister Helen Ruth West; and brother Jerry Glen West (Valerie); nephews Jeff West, David Stewart, Stephen Stewart, Kieran Morse; nieces Joyce West Perskyand, Lisa Stewart, Feona Morse, and Tiffany Morse (Matthew) .

He was pre-deceased in death by his parents Stephen Lester West and Lorene Meeks West; brother Stephen Edward West, and nephew Keith West.

A Gathering will be held on December 4th, 2021 beginning at 10:00 am at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, with the funeral service at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes all donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
