Jamie Lee Krupke, age 39, of Vero Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on May 1, 2026 at the VNA Hospice House, after a battle with cancer.
Jamie was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt and niece.
Ms. Krupke was a true blessing to the school community of Imagine South Vero. She served the students and families in so many ways over the years, teaching fifth grade, first grade, and most recently supporting students through enrichment. Her smile would light up a room, and her love for her students was evident in everything she did. She had a special way of connecting with children and making them feel seen, valued, and cared for. Her impact on the Imagine South Vero Manatees and their staff is lasting, and she will be deeply missed.
Survivors include her children, Camden and Ella; partner, Jacob Frasier; mother, Cheryl Schmidt; sisters, Kristin Schmidt and Kathryn Febus; brother, Jonathon Krupke; uncles, Michael and David Ehrhardt; and seven nephews.
She was predeceased by her father, Jeffrey Krupke; grandparents, John and Marian Krupke and Judy Daly.
A Celebration of Life will be held 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.at the Heritage Center on May 29, 2026 at 2140 14th Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32960.

I got to know Jamie over the last year on an online game we both played. She was such a lovely person and we had some good chats. She sent me a message a couple of weeks before she passed telling me that she didn’t have long. Myself and the whole KRS Team (our team in the game) are so sad to find out she’s gone. You will forever be our Queen Harley Quinn. Sleep tight gorgeous girl love Lisa xxx

Telling our daughters this heartbreaking news was the hardest thing we’ve ever had to do. Ms. Krupke taught my youngest in 1st grade and will forever be her favorite teacher. The impact she made on her will last for a lifetime. We loved her so much, and I’m forever grateful for the love she gave us. She drove across town last October just to surprise my daughter at the donut shop before school for her birthday. That act of kindness is just one small example of how much she cared and supported her students long after teaching them in her classroom. We are heartbroken and we are grieving with, and praying for her precious children and family. All my love, Ralna

I have got to know Jamie from a game we online played. She was fun, caring to all of us, a real big hearted woman. A woman with the heart at the best place she could have, shown to all, tho i did not know her in real life, the connection between us all was there. We alle miss her a lot at the KrS team. Husband, Kids,Family and Friends, you can be sure she touched a lot of hearts. Be strong, take care, and if you ever want, the Mafia game is always open. Hi Kristin & Kathryn, I’ve tried to keep up with your families,but it has been to no availle. So sorry to her about your sister. She sure sounded like a wonderful person that I did not get to know. Is there anything I can do about her children. Where are they going to live. Is Jacob Frazier Ella’s father & is she going to live with him? Who is Camden going to live with either of you two with your boys.Please contact me. Again I am so sorry to her of Jamie’s passing.You all have my deepest condolences.
