Jean Bennett Grider, age 85, of Vero Beach, passed away December 6, 2019 at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital.
She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on October 7, 1934 and moved to Vero Beach, from her birthplace.
Jean retired as computer manager with Metridata Computing, Louisville.
She was a member of Christ By the Sea United Methodist Church, Vero Beach. Jean sang in the Choir for over 30 years, composed the monthly calendar, as well as helped to design the church bulletins.
Jean was Past President of the Data Processing Management Association and Past President of the Vero Beach Computer Group.
She is survived by her husband, William Thomas “Bill” Grider; sons, Harold Grider (Cathy), Howard Grider (Julie), and Doug Grider (Diana); daughter, Donna Henn (John), sister, Evelyn Armstrong; brother-in-law, Sam Grider; sister-in-law, Carolyn Fountain; eleven grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
Jean was predeceased by her father, Harold Howard Bennett and her mother, Lula Shepherd Bennett.
