John ‘Johnny’ Reams, 64 years of age, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2026. in Fort Pierce, Florida.
John known to many as ‘Caveman’ and/ or ‘Walking Johnny’ was born in Taunton, Massachusetts in the winter of 1961.
John was a United States Navy Veteran and served his country with pride.
He loved books, writing, poetry, animals, and music. John enjoyed spending time at the Iron Eagle with friends who became family in Okeechobee.
John is survived by his sisters Kathaleen Tutino (Robert) of Taunton, Mary Richard (Ronald) of South Carolina, Susan Gonsalves (Anthony) of Fall River, Ann Rogers of New Bedford, Linda Duhaime (Brian) of Taunton, Pamela Viera (David), and Kara Shaw (James) of Texas; brother Michael Reams (Kimberly) of Lunenberg; nieces and nephews Joseph, Alexander, Victoria, Jeannine, Juilanne, Andrew, Amy, Sarah, Megan, Shelley, Shane, Tyler, Joseph, Alyssa, Kyle, Ryan, Scott, John, Amber, Jasmin, Karisa, Leonidas, Sharmisa, Dawelisa, Janascia, Alexander, and Xavier; great nieces and nephews Gretchen, Ethan, Bailey, Riley, Jayden, Jiraya, Sophia, Angelina, Everliegh, Emmalyn, Kieran, Declan, Elijah, Dean, Castiel, Logan, Griffin< Bellamy, Ali, Ari, Josiah, Jhayvien, Nicholas, Melvin, Christopher, Krystian, Kaydance, and Joshua.
John was preceded in death by his mother Cecilia Reams.
