It is said that only the GOOD die young, and that is surely the case here! Joe was a dear friend to the crew at Vero Bearing And Bolt, he was our UPS Man for it seems like forever. We would swap stories about family, and life’s adventures in those few short minutes that it took for the daily delivery. Joe was always sure to bring toy donations every year for Toys For Tots, as he knew that I was heavily involved. He knew that there was always a cold bottle of water in the fridge for him, and at Christmas he would bring us home made fudge. His smile and springy step brightened our day! We will miss our dear friend, but we want the family to know how much of a difference he made in our lives. He was so proud of his sons who joined the Marine Corps. May he rest in peace, and heaven has gained a kind sole, and I believe when he arrived at the pearly gates he heard, “WELL DONE MY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT”

Condolences to the family of Joseph Di Benedetto. Peggi I met you a long time ago when you first moved into South Vero. I was walking, probably by myself, we talked. My dad also sends his condolences, your husband always brought packages to our house and dad also would give him water. May your memories help you through this hard time. Sincerely Karen Boos and Robert Boos

In our family he was “Uncle Joey from Brooklyn”. He introduced my daughter Kat to her husband Steve 37 years ago. No words can express the sorrow in our hearts. Rest In Piece “Uncle Joey”.

Peggy and family, all our love and support always. Joe was one of the greatest! He introduced me to my wife Kat of 37 years and was the greatest godfather to our son Steve. We are especially gonna miss our Yankee/Red Sox ribbing, Castle Rock stories and especially his loveable upbeat attitude. Joe will always be in our hearts. Miss you my brother!

Meeting you, and having his Beautiful family made him the most happiest man in the world! and his Hallmark!.. Making Joe Loriann’s Godfather was the best decision we ever made! He sure was the most kindest, sincerest person we ever knew~ Never having a bad word to say about anyone~ We always thought we’d look back on our tears and laugh, but we never thought we’d look back on our Laughter and Cry ~ He will forever be in our thoughts and heart…
