Judith Armella, age 90, passed away April 16, 2026 in Vero Beach, Florida.
She was born in Cúcuta, Colombia to the late Jose Arturo Capacho Rodriguez and Cenaida Monsalve De Capacho.
Judith was a graduate of Nuestra Señora de Belén located in Salazar, North Santander, Colombia.
She was a devoted member of María Auxiliadora, in Cúcuta, Colombia and in St Mary Magdalen Catholic Parish, Sunny Isles Beach, where her faith and kindness touched many lives. Judith was a master gourmet cook who found great joy in the kitchen, lovingly preparing meals that brought family and friends together. Her beautiful soul blessed all who knew her, and the countless memories she created will be cherished forever.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Jose A. Armella; daughters, Matilde Patricia Armella de Uribe and Zenaida Armella-Barbier; son, Marcos J. Armella; granddaughter, Alejandra Uribe; grandson, Guillermo Uribe; son-in-law, William Uribe and Marcel Barbier; sisters, Carmen Beatriz Capacho and Cenaida Capacho de Suarez.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Jaime Capacho, Manuel Capacho, Jose Arturo Capacho, Lucio Capacho and Armida Capacho; and infant son, Jose Antonio Armella Capacho.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2000 20th St, Vero Beach, FL 32960 with Father Matthew DeGance officiating.
