Justin Powell, 30 of Vero Beach, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2015.
Born in Fort Lauderdale, FL to Rhett Powell and Sherrie Powell (Carlson), he moved to Vero Beach in 1998 and graduated from the Vero Beach Charter High School in 2002.
Justin attended the Fort Lauderdale Art Institute and Indian River State College, studying towards a degree in fashion design. He moved to New York City and spent several years pursuing his dream.
Justin returned to Florida recently and found a new passion in fishing.
He is the grandson of Ann Carlson (Vero Beach) and Janet Powell (Flagler Beach); and the brother of Jennifer Powell Carter (Vero Beach) married to Anthony Carter (Vero Beach). Along with niece and nephew, Abigail and Ethan Carter; and a large extended family and friends.
Visiting hours will be Tuesday, May 5th, from 5-7 pm at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home, 1655 27th Street, Vero Beach, with a 7 p.m. service to follow.
