Lynne Hill Bohnsack of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away on July 30th, 2018, at VNA Hospice House of Vero Beach. She was 69

Born in Washington, DC, Ms. Bohnsack grew up in Suburban Washington, Scottsdale, AZ, and Catskill, NY. She was an award-winning horsewoman in Virginia and Arizona.

She served as Art Consultant for Trailside Galleries in Scottsdale and Sales Director for the Scottsdale Catalogue Magazine, based in Aspen, CO. Most recently, she served as office technician for the Indian River Shores Department of Public Safety.

Upon their retirement, she and her husband Warren lived on their yacht “Mr. Bones,” traveling the east coast and the Bahamas for 20 years before settling in Vero Beach.

Ms. Bohnsack is the great-great granddaughter of American Artist Thomas Cole, father of American landscape painting and The Hudson River School of Art.

Ms. Bohnsack was predeceased by her husband, Warren H. Bohnsack, and her son, David Cole Schneider. She is survived by her grandchildren, Haley Cole Schneider of Chandler, AZ, Elijah Cole Schneider of Bakersfield, CA, stepdaughter Jill Bohnsack of Vero Beach, brothers M. Dean Hill Jr. of Cerritos, CA, Dennis Hill of Fort Pierce, FL, and stepbrother Spencer Silberstein of Vero Beach, FL.

Services are pending in Florida and New York, Interment will be in the Germantown Reformed Church Cemetery, Germantown, NY. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Indian River Shores Fraternal Order of Police (F.O.P.), 6001 North A1A, PMB 8055, Indian River Shores, FL 32963-8055.
