Mable C. Duggan, 100 years of age, passed away peacefully on June 20th, 2026; in Brooksville, Florida.
She was born in the Spring of 1926, to Reginald & Julie Coffin in Port Huron, Michigan.
Mable earned her master’s degree in education and followed her passion as a teacher until her retirement. Even after her retirement, Mable also found joy in the laughter and smiles of children. She strived to tutor children to read and loved them all equally. Mable was a loyal U.S. Navy wife to Laurence “Larry” Duggan whom she was married to for 48 years.
She was a devoted member of The Most Holy Trinity Church in Vero Beach, Fl.
Survivors include her sons, Patrick Duggan and Timothy Duggan, daughter, Laureen Valdez, and three grandchildren.
Mable is predeceased by her parents and husband Laurence Duggan.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM with a Mass of Christian Burial to begin promptly at 3:00 PM.
Graveside services are to follow Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, Florida where she will be laid to rest next to her loving husband Larry Duggan at 10:30 AM.
