Margaret Ann Schillizzi, 63, of Vero Beach FL, passed at home on Monday, July 25, 2022, surrounded by her family and love.  She was born in the Bronx and moved to Hopatcong NJ in 1976 with her husband Steven. They renovated a lake house together and enjoyed many pool parties, BBQ’s, sunsets, fireworks, boat rides, skating, fishing, swimming, laughs and memories with neighbors that later became friends and family.

She was a member of St Jude Roman Catholic Church in Hopatcong NJ where she volunteered her time, talent, and treasures. Margaret was a hostess and waitress at Muldoon’s for many years and loved her patrons.  She loved the beach, facetiming her family in NJ, dancing, playing her lottery numbers, enjoying her mocha, loved a good Cosmo, making lifelong friends, sharing stories, and laughing with her family.

Margaret leaves behind the pride and joys of her life-her loving husband, Steve; son Steven, his wife Christina and her granddaughter, Adrianna; “A” will miss her Gigi and we will miss them singing You are my Sunshine to each other. Also her sister, Patricia Munzelle and husband Ed; and several beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She is predeceased by her parents, Henry and Florence Neuer; her brothers, Hank, Richard, and Thomas Neuer.

No Funeral or Memorial service is immediately planned.  The family will notify loved ones in the future when a service is scheduled.

Arrangements are by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.

Susan, “Steph Steph” Phil and I are devastated to learn of ” Auntie Mar-go-let passing. We became friends many years ago as neighbors in Lighthouse Point FL where her in laws had a home. Margaret was welcoming caring and loving, such a beautiful person. The Schillizzi family in whole are one of the best families we know and have wonderful memories enjoying times and experiences. Who could ever forget Steve yelling for her with that infamous ” HON” Although we had not seen each other for a while her memory is vivid and we will miss her enormously. We hope and pray she is at peace and send our deepest condolences to The entire family. The Pellerito Family

Sweet Aunt Chickie, AKA “Lucy” as you were always up to something that Uncle Steven would find out eventually….I will adore you always. My heart will always be filled with memories of the love that poured out every time we went up to visit or when you came down for the beach. I know you are with Daddy now along with those you’ve been missing for so many years. Thank you for loving me, loving my children, my husband. I will follow the signs you send me…butterflies for days. Love you always, Liz

L.U.V.I.N.S. my angel will always be our sign. I can only guess you were called home early for a good reason, but it has left us all heartbroken and wanting more of you. Memories, sweet memories, will have to suffice for now. Steven you were her “rock” and unbelievable caregiver; such a true man and partner in love. Steven, Christina, and precious Adrianna; stood by Mom and Gigi that made her so very happy. You were her light and strength. She will always be with you, please believe that. God bless you always my true sister…..I will love you forever. Give Richie a hug for me. xoxoxoxoxo
