Mary Elizabeth “Marybeth” Browning, age 77, passed away on March 9, 2024 at Cleveland Clinic in Vero Beach.

She was born July 3, 1946 in Miami, Florida to the late Paul and Harriet Stickler, Jr.

Marybeth attended Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO and enjoyed her many years as Church Secretary for Riverview Baptist Church in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mrs. Browning was a schoolteacher, CNA, a loving wife, mother, and missionary in London, England; she was a business owner and a true renaissance woman.

She served the Lord and loved the people she encountered. The most common reoccurring comment from friends and family who she shared time with has been, “she was the sweetest woman I’ve ever met”. She was proud to share her love of the Lord with others.

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Herman Fletcher Browning; three children, Christine N. Garcia, Mary E. (Brian) Weaver, and Steven Paul Browning; grandson, Jeffery P. Gravely; two granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Amanda Clemmons; brother, Neil Stickler; and many other family members.

The burial took place at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery on March 14, 2024 at 11:00 am.

Arrangements are by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.

Uncle Herman, we know that Aunt MaryBeth is in heaven and singing with the angels. We are hurting because she isn’t with us anymore but we know that she is not in any more pain and is in heaven with The Lord. May God wrap his arms around you and your family for comfort. I have such great memories with y’all. I love them and think about them often. I love you.
