Mary Elizabeth “Liz” Arnold, 89, passed away peacefully on June 30, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in the small community of Children’s Home, Florida, Liz made Vero Beach her home from the age of 16. She was known for her kind heart, unwavering devotion to her family, and the many friendships she made throughout her life.
Liz was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, Roy Arnold; her son, Ronald Arnold; her sisters, Margaret and Doris; and her brothers, Martin, Frank, and Bobby.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Lynn (Brian) and Sharon (Denver); her son, Donny; her brother, Horace (Ruth); six grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren, all of whom will cherish her memory and the love she shared with them.
Liz retired from Piper Aircraft after many years of dedicated service. In retirement, she and Roy enjoyed spending every chance they could camping and fishing together. Their successful fishing trips often ended with family fish fries, creating treasured memories around the table filled with laughter, stories, and love.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

My beloved Aunt Liz was so kind to me and a great source of encouragement when I had my daughter. I remember so fondly our families getting together each week to have dinner together and all of us cousins running around playing and having so much fun. She always provided the best iced tea! She and my Aunt Doris made sure I was given a piece of my Grandma Dean’s fabric. She always looked out for me. She was that way with everyone, really. I loved her dearly and I miss her already. Lynn, Sharon, and Donny you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Love you!
