Rema Dell Campbell, age 79, passed away February 1, 2017 at Indian River Medical Center.
Rema enjoyed her many years of work at both the Indian River County School Board and Vero Beach Elementary School Cafeteria as a cook.
Survivors include Daughter, Crystal Ann Schacht (Daniel); Son, Gregory Campbell (Partner James Geidner); Grandsons, Daniel Clinton Schacht and Christopher Kyle Schacht; Great-Grandsons, Jonathan Easton Schacht and Jordan Rawlings Schacht & their mother, Toni Ann Ritto; Siblings, Goldie Meckstroth, Nell Tingue (John), TJ Platt (Diane), Barbara Odum (Gary), and Nadine Knight (Kenn).
She is predeceased by Husband, Raymond E. Campbell; Son, Mark E. Campbell; Great-Grandson, Jaxon Worth Schacht; parents, Adam Platt & Leila Crummie Platt; Brother, Oscar; Sisters, Florence Platt and Helen Johnson.
A gathering will be held 12:30 p.m.-1:00 p.m. with a service immediately following at 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 6, 2017 at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory.
There will be a reception to follow at Greg and James’s home.
