Uncle Rich, I was10 years old when Aunt Mary brought you home to meet the family. I thought you were handsome like Clint Eastwood on Rawhide and the tallest person I ever saw! You were funny, but quiet in the midst of a noisy Italian family! But you fit in quickly because you loved to eat and Italians love to feed. We will treasure the memories of time spent with you and Aunt Mary, Joe and Paula. Enjoy the peace and love only God our Father and Heaven can give. We will miss you. Love you, Bridget and Walt.

Richard was one of the sweetest men I’ve ever known! That’s why he was my “ boyfriend”! He was a humble and quiet guy but he was full of love and goodness. He will be greatly missed! MaryBeth Brummett

Everything happens in God’s time and He called Richard home. Don and I are grateful for the time we were given to walk through life with our Richard. We had some good times! Now he walks with Jesus and has no more pain. Our heartfelt condolences to you, Mary, and your family all. May this difficult time turn to fond memories quickly for you. We have already been missing seeing you and Richard at 10:30 Mass every Sunday. Wishing you peace. Gerda and Don

My tall quiet cowboy has gone to stand in the presence of Jesus! I have known Richard and Mary for 36 years and will remember Richard in his cowboy hat standing with his horses as my neighbor in Parker, Colorado! I have many memories of them both and consider them as another set of parents! All of my love and prayers go out to Mary, Joe, Paula and their families! I will miss Richard and it was a privilege to know him!

Shakespeare could have had Richard in mind when he wrote: “ his life was gentle, and the elements so mixed in him that nature might stand up and say to all the world, “This was a man”. Mary our love, thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. You and Richard were blest to have had each other for so long and to be surrounded by your family at this time.
