Roylynn Jean Scott, age 16, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2026, at Holmes Regional Medical Center.
Roylynn was born on February 23, 2010, in Vero Beach, Florida, and was a student at Vero Beach High School. She was deeply loved and will be forever remembered by her family and all those whose lives she touched. Her family takes great comfort in the promises of Jesus Christ and the sure and certain hope of the resurrection and eternal life.
She is survived by her father, John Scott and his wife, Aurea; her mother, Crystal; her brothers, James, Dustin, Cole, Chase, and Ethan; her sisters, Dani and Yohanna; her grandparents, John and Mary Ann Scott, Bonnie Scott, Carole and Andrew Melasi, and Jeff and Calene Raynor; her great-grandparents, Romano Ferrari, Jacque Castlebury, and Carolyn Aldridge; her uncles, Nicolas, Casey, Matthew, and Tony; and her aunts, Kristen and Alisa.
Roylynn was predeceased by her great-grandfather, Roy Aldridge, and her great-grandmother, Norma Ferrari.
A service for Roylynn will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Grace Lutheran Church, 1150 41st Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 444 Periwinkle Park, Sebastian, FL 32958.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to Grace Lutheran Church, 1150 41st Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
